Chocolate mousse is easy to make in your kitchen with simple ingredients that are readily available at home, or you can buy them from a nearby grocery store easily . the simple ingredients that are required for it are

  • One egg
  • Two cream
  • Three sugar
  • Four semisweet baking chocolate

The only trick behind an incredibly delicious mousse is to use the correct amount of ingredients and to cook them for a proper period

Although many brands have made this part more accessible, they offer you a ready to make powder along with a recipe with the amount and timings written on their packaging

AMOUNT OF INGREDIENTS

  • Four large egg yolks
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 ½ cup heavy whipped cream
  • And last but not least, finely chopped chocolate, add the chocolate depending on your taste.

STEPS OF MAKING

  • First, beat the eggs in a small bowl with a high-speed electric mixer for 4 min until it turns thick and lemon-colored, then add ground sugar into it gradually and then mix it with the mixer again.
  • then divide the whipping cream you have into two equal parts
  • then place the cream in a saucepan and heat it when its hot mix the cream with the egg yolk and heat, and stir again
  • after mixing cream with egg yolk now, add the melted chocolate and stir properly
  • mix it until you can see a homogenous kind of light brown mixture
  • then cool it down slightly
  • then refrigerate it for 2 hrs and stir it occasionally just until chilled
  • Now beat the leftover half of the cream on high speed until it’s stiff. Fold cream into the chocolate mixture and refrigerate until serving.

TIPS

Do not mix all the ingredients at once. Mix it in parts; otherwise, the egg would scramble in the mixture, and it wouldn’t taste good. Whipping the cream when it is chilled is much more accessible, so always use a chilled beater with a chilled bowl to do it.
