How to Make a Chorizo Gumbo

Chorizo Gumbo:

  1. Start by chopping the trinity of onion, celery and a green pepper.

  2. Fry the chorizo off until the fat renders and then mix in the reggies once softened to the side.

  3. Next make a roux, simply add flour and oil to the pan and after 10 minutes when its a deep dark color.

  4. Add the regies back to the pan. Sticking to the Spanish theme, add some garlic powder, hot paprika and stock.

  5. Then back with the chorizo, some shrimp and frozen okra.Enjoy
